The GAF1220 is a door-front, 14-quart countertop oven that air-fries, dehydrates and turns food on an included rotisserie spit. Its useful distinction from a drawer fryer is its oven cavity and accessory set—not the presence of two independently controlled baskets.

What the exact model is

Gourmia’s U.S. product page identifies the SKU as GAF1220 and lists a nominal 14-quart capacity, stainless-steel finish, touchscreen, interior light, viewing window, two air-fry baskets, rotisserie set and drip tray. The page calls out twelve one-touch cooking functions. Its current listing showed “Sold Out” when checked on October 25, 2026; that is a dated manufacturer-store status, not evidence about every other retailer.

The model-matched 2022 owner manual names Air Fry, Fries, Wings, Bacon, Seafood, Vegetables, Bake, Roast, Broil, Dehydrate, Reheat and Keep Warm. It gives Air Fry a 170–400°F range and Dehydrate a separate 90–170°F range with a 30-minute-to-24-hour timer. Those lower dehydration settings do not mean that ordinary air frying operates below 170°F. Gourmia lists a 120-volt, 60-Hz, 1,750-watt supply in that manual. A one-year limited U.S. warranty appears in the guide under its terms; it is not a promise of present-day service availability.

The two baskets share one oven program

GAF1220 makes most sense when a household wants a compact oven-style appliance instead of a pull-out drawer. The included mesh air-fry baskets can be placed in the cavity, and a window plus interior light lets you look in without routinely opening the door. But the machine has one cavity, one selected temperature and one cook schedule. The two included baskets are not two independently controlled zones: selecting “two baskets” or synchronized finish would describe a capability the exact model does not document.

That distinction matters more than the 14-quart headline if you plan to cook two foods that need different settings. The GAF1220 can hold a useful amount of food across its included accessories, but Gourmia’s own manual warns that overfilling can lead to uneven results and recommends smaller loads when needed. Treat the nominal volume as a size category, not a tested serving count or guarantee that every large batch will brown evenly. The optional preheat and mid-cook turn reminder can help with a recipe that benefits from those prompts; they do not remove the need to inspect doneness.

More versatile than air frying alone

The function list is a practical reason to consider this older model. Dehydrate, Roast, Bake and Broil are distinct choices, alongside familiar food presets. For a household that wants dried fruit, a rotating roast or occasional baking without buying a second small oven, this is more flexible than a basic basket unit. Its rotisserie set includes the spit, forks and lift tool. The manual explains how the spit seats into the cavity and instructs you to use the lift tool and hand protection when taking it out. Keep the drip tray at the bottom during cooking; Gourmia explicitly warns that the inside and accessories become hot and that opening the door can release hot steam.

Care is relatively well documented. The manual says the rotisserie spit, forks, lift tool and air-fry baskets are top-rack dishwasher-safe after cooling; it does not make that same explicit top-rack statement for the drip tray. The guide calls for at least four inches of open space above and around the appliance for ventilation. It also cautions against covering the tray or any part of the fryer with foil. Those details make the machine less of a “set it anywhere and forget it” countertop choice than its touchscreen may suggest.

Who should shortlist it—and who should not

Shortlist the GAF1220 if you specifically prefer a door-front oven layout, can use one shared cooking schedule, want the 14-quart nominal size, and would use its dehydration or rotisserie functions. It is a poor fit if you require a built-in temperature probe: the exact GAF1220 page and manual document none. If a probe is central to your workflow, the later Gourmia GAF1290 is a more relevant comparison; its product page and model-matched guide document an integrated probe, while the two generations otherwise occupy a similar 14-quart oven format.

It also should not match a request for two cooking zones, remote adjustment, a glass cooking vessel or an explicitly PFAS-free food-contact surface. The inspected GAF1220 sources do not establish those features or disclose the basket coating chemistry. Unknown coating details are not proof of either a particular chemistry or a complete PFAS-free claim. Likewise, Gourmia does not publish exterior dimensions on the reviewed exact-model page, so measure your available counter and leave the manual’s clearance before deciding that it fits.

How the finder should treat this model

The useful questionnaire path is oven format, one cooking zone, at least 14 quarts, and a documented Dehydrate or rotisserie need. A 14-quart minimum fits the nominal capacity; a stricter minimum above 14 should not. The model is a current manufacturer reference, but availability is uncertain because its direct listing was sold out at capture. Recheck the exact GAF1220 identity and seller’s return and warranty terms before purchase rather than relying on an old page, an accessory image or a generic search result.
