Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Do you value selecting two accessory containers after choosing a finish?
The BYO pages offer two selections among 6-, 4- and 2.5-qt vessels; optional accessories may ship separately. The listed base package still includes 6 and 2.5 qt.
Explore this need in the finder →Does a glass vessel and one cooking zone fit your normal meal?
The base is configured for one glass vessel and one cooking zone at a time; the extra selectable containers do not cook together.
Explore this need in the finder →Are two independently controlled zones essential?
No: the BYO accessory choices change vessel bundle, not the single-vessel operating plan.
Explore this need in the finder →Would the visible vessel need to be a drawer basket?
The four BYO finishes use a powered top unit over glass, not a pull-out basket.
Explore this need in the finder →Would you use the named Max Crisp and Dehydrate modes?
The six-page AS100 guide and product pages name Max Crisp and Dehydrate; no separate Broil mode is named.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you need the 6-qt vessel as a listed base-package item?
The four reviewed BYO pages itemize a 6-qt and a 2.5-qt base vessel before optional accessory picks.
Explore this need in the finder →Is the electrical supply documented as both 120 V and 60 Hz?
The manufacturer-authored AS100 series guide says 120V~ 60Hz and 1,800W; its cover is series-level.
Explore this need in the finder →The Ninja Crispi Pro Build Your Own listings are easy to misread as a single appliance with interchangeable paint colors. Four U.S. codes were inspected here: AS101CYSN in Cyberspace, AS101LGSN in Bone, AS101DGSN in Ash Gray, and AS101SDSN in Stone and Gold. Each exact page heading carries a longer suffix than the later page-body model field, so retain the complete code when checking a retail listing. They share the same basic powered base and glass-vessel routine, but package configuration and measurements still deserve a model-by-model check.

Base kit versus selected extras
The four reviewed pages all itemize a 6-quart and 2.5-quart glass container in their base in-box list, along with the adjustable base, two crisper plates, two storage lids and recipe book. The Build Your Own flow then says “Choose 2 Accessories,” offering 6-quart, 4-quart, and 2.5-quart glass-container choices; the pages caution that accessories may ship separately. That second step matters. It would be inaccurate to promise that every owner receives a 4-quart vessel or to imply that a pictured chooser board proves what was selected. Before checkout, confirm the two actual choices and keep the order confirmation. The standard fixed AS101LG package is not the same kind of purchase, even though AS101LGSN shares its Bone finish name.
Still one pot at a time
The extra containers change batch flexibility and storage, not cooking zones. A single pod sits on one glass vessel on the modular base at a time. The manual describes base positions for 2.5-, 4-, and 6-quart vessels and an “ADD POT” warning if a pot is not seated. The glass containers use one adjusted position; the appliance does not become dual-zone because a cart contains two containers. If you need one food to roast while another is air-fried at a different temperature, choose separate controlled compartments instead. The Crispi Pro can serve a different need: use one selected vessel for one batch, clean or store the others, and choose a size for the next cook.
What the mode list and manual do—and do not—say
SharkNinja’s product copy names Max Crisp, Air Fry, Bake/Proof, Roast, Recrisp, and Dehydrate. A comparison table abbreviates Bake/Proof to Bake. The AS100-series Owner’s Guide prints the combined Bake/Proof wording but notes that functions vary by model. I treat Dehydrate and Max Crisp as specifically named functions, not separate cook chambers; I do not claim a standalone Proof selection or a Broil mode. The product page gives an upper setting of up to 450°F, while the guide does not provide a minimum setting or complete timer bounds. A hard requirement for a very low temperature, lengthy drying run, or exact timer range therefore needs confirmation from instructions supplied for the purchased configuration.
That manual is useful but its boundary should be visible: it is SharkNinja-authored, titled CRISPI PRO AS100, and its original six-page PDF is preserved from a Best Buy static-file CDN. The retailer is only the file host, and the guide is series-level rather than a separate exact-suffix booklet. Its technical page says 120V~, 60Hz, 1,800W; its care pages say the glass, crisper plates, and lids can go in the dishwasher, but the station and modular base cannot. It warns against using glass on stovetops, in ovens or under broilers, and against thermal shock or damaged containers.
Materials and measurements for each finish
The maker says the glass is borosilicate and that food-contact surfaces are designed without PFAS/PTFE. These statements are from the manufacturer; they are not independent material testing or a health assessment. The page states up to 450°F. The glass and plates are hot after cooking, and the manual asks for six inches of clearance at the air intake and outlet. The glass format also means food is visible through the vessel itself, which is different from a small viewing window in a dark drawer.
Do not assume one published footprint applies to all colors. AS101CYSN and AS101LGSN list 11.8 × 12.2 × 11 inches and no weight on the inspected page. AS101DGSN gives those same dimensions and 11.4 pounds. AS101SDSN instead lists 11.73 × 11.03 × 12.24 inches and 11.11 pounds. These are maker-listed figures, not measurements taken in a kitchen. Each page gives a one-year limited warranty. The page text for DGSN, LGSN, and SDSN shortens the model field to DG, LG, and SD respectively; keep the full code in any compatibility or purchase search.
Who should choose Build Your Own?
This set is for someone who already prefers a clear-vessel pod and wants a say in the extra glassware rather than a fixed package alone. It can be a poor fit if you expect selectable vessels to work simultaneously, need a verified bundle before checkout, or have a strict footprint limit but are choosing a finish whose dimensions are unknown or different. For a known Bone fixed kit with no accessory-selection step, compare AS101LG; for Rose Quartz, check AS101RSSN separately because its itemized contents conflict with broad capacity copy. Product pages do not establish current seller inventory or a recall-free status. Match the complete suffix and selected accessories to the actual order, then read the instructions with the exact appliance before cooking.
