Philips 3000 Series Airfryer 7.2 L NA340/00R0 review

A windowed 7.2 L Philips 3000 Series single-basket reference model. The exact NA340/00R0 page specifies 220–240 V, so it is not a U.S. 120 V purchase recommendation.

Reference model only. The exact Philips technical page lists 220–240 V, not the ordinary U.S. 120 V supply. Exact model code(s) and manual-link caveats are preserved.

A useful fit for

Useful to identify an existing Philips NA340/00R0 or compare one windowed basket with the larger NA340 sibling. Its exact 220–240 V rating makes it a regional reference, not a U.S. purchase option.

The main tradeoff

One windowed drawer has one shared cook, and the exact technical table lists non-U.S. supply. The complete family manual is not linked to exact /00R0 support; exact preset mapping and coating chemistry remain unknown.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Would one windowed basket fit your cooking arrangement?

Philips lists one 7.2 L basket and a viewing window. It has one zone, not separate settings for a main and side dish.

Must the model be documented for a U.S. 120 V / 60 Hz supply?

This exact page lists 220–240 V and gives no documented 120 V / 60 Hz configuration.

Does a particular preset count or low-temperature limit have to be proven for this exact suffix?

The product page advertises 16 cooking functions, but the exact support page does not link the related family user manual. Preset mapping and the minimum temperature remain unconfirmed for this suffix.

Must the cooking-surface chemistry be explicitly identified?

Philips calls the surface nonstick but does not name the coating or state that it is PFAS-free. Unknown chemistry does not meet an essential disclosure requirement.

The Philips 3000 Series NA340/00R0 is the larger of the two windowed single-basket models reviewed here: its exact page lists 7.2 liters, compared with 6.2 liters for the NA330/00R0. That extra nominal volume is the point of choosing it over the smaller sibling; the visible layout is still one drawer and one cooking zone. More important for a U.S. buyer, Philips's exact NA340/00R0 technical record gives 220–240 V. It is therefore a reference model, not a U.S. 120 V shopping recommendation, despite the page being hosted on Philips's U.S. domain.

Extra room for a bigger batch, with one shared setting

Philips describes the NA340/00R0 as a 7.2-liter 3000 Series Airfryer with a cooking window, RapidAir Plus airflow and 16 cooking functions. The screen supports local time and temperature choices. It has no documented second cooking zone, and the user cannot set a different temperature for a second food in the same drawer. If a meal needs a main and side finished together under different settings, a dual-basket model is a better functional match even when it has less total volume.

The difference between 16 advertised cooking functions and the family's 12 named preset buttons is best read as a distinction between capabilities and shortcuts rather than a promise of 16 independent automatic programs. The NA33x/NA34x user manual identifies presets for fries, chicken, chops, fruit, vegan food, eggs with toast, muffins, vegetables, fish and keeping food warm, with adjustable controls and a saved favorite. The exact support page does not link that full manual to /00R0, so I keep the family-level list clearly separate from exact suffix evidence.

What the larger NA34X table changes

In the official family manual, the NA34X food table scales several examples above the NA33X values: up to 1,000 g of fries, ten chicken drumsticks, 1,400 g of roughly chopped vegetables, and nine muffin cups. Those are manufacturer guidance amounts, not serving counts or measured cooking results. Read the footnotes as part of the capacity claim. The same manual's homemade-fries instructions recommend up to 500 g for an even result and warn that larger quantities tend to be less crisp. A larger basket provides more room, but it does not turn every high-volume recipe into one thin, evenly spaced layer.

The manual says preheating is unnecessary and tells cooks to shake, turn or stir selected foods. The window makes it easier to inspect progress without opening the drawer, but the shake reminder still has a job. The 40–200 °C family-manual range and a time that can extend to 24 hours at low settings are also not interchangeable with a normal high-heat cook; above 100 °C the manual limits the time setting to three hours. Those ranges are family guidance, not a substitute for a suffix-specific operating booklet.

Plan the counter and the electrical supply

The exact Philips table lists 2,000 W, 220–240 V, a 5.9 kg product weight and dimensions of 453 × 333 × 303.5 mm. Frequency is not stated in that exact page, so it remains unknown. These facts help identify the regional appliance and estimate counter fit. They do not establish compatibility with a North American 120 V outlet. The base-code NA340/00 product is not the same identity as NA340/00R0; don't transfer one model's electrical or buyer status to the other.

Philips calls the removable cooking parts dishwasher-safe and describes a nonstick coating. The family manual warns against metal utensils and abrasive cleaning, recommends removing grease from the pan, and allows the pan and basket to be cleaned in a dishwasher after cooling. Philips does not identify the coating's chemical composition or make an exact-model PFAS-free claim. The compatible accessory list names items such as HD9957, HD9959, HD9921 and HD9920; those are compatibility references, not a statement that those accessories are included.

Where this model fits—and where it does not

The NA340/00R0 is useful as an identification reference for a black Philips 7.2-liter windowed fryer already owned, or for comparing one larger basket with the 6.2-liter NA330. It is not a domestic electrical alternative to that model, since both exact /00R0 pages list 220–240 V. For a U.S.-eligible single drawer, compare the COSORI TurboBlaze CAF-DC601-KUS review; it has a documented 120 V / 60 Hz supply and one shared cook, but not the Philips window. For two foods under independent settings, compare the U.S.-eligible COSORI 9-quart Dual Basket CAF-R901-AUS instead. That asks a different question—two baskets rather than one larger basket—and is more relevant if synchronized meal timing matters. The finder can filter those needs, while the separate NA330/00R0 assessment explains the smaller Philips family member.
