A useful fit for

A useful reference for someone comparing a single oven cavity with door access, digital presets, rack positions and a maker-listed 10-quart capacity. It may suit users interested in a manual-described Dehydrator program, but the exact cooking accessory package must be confirmed before choosing it.

The main tradeoff

This is not a pull-out basket or dual-zone appliance, and its documented top setting is 400°F. Dehydration alone reaches 90°F; ordinary cooking presets start at 150°F. Exterior dimensions, weight, current seller availability, transferable warranty and bundle contents are not established.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Would a door-front oven with a maker-listed 10-quart cavity work better than a drawer fryer?

The CM-001 exact manual identifies one 10-qt/577-cu-in oven cavity. It is not a pull-out basket model.

Is a Dehydrator preset useful, and is 90°F low enough for your specific routine?

The manual gives Dehydrator a 90–170°F range and a 2–24-hour timer, while the other presets use 150–400°F.

Do you need a confirmed dishwasher-safe pull-out cooking basket, or does an oven with dishwasher-safe accessories fit?

The manual says stainless-steel accessories such as the rotating mesh basket are dishwasher-safe, but bundle quantities vary; it is not a drawer-basket fryer and the exact package needs checking.

PowerXL’s CM-001 Air Fryer Oven 10-Quart is an earlier door-front countertop oven, not a pull-out drawer model. The exact manual lists a 10-quart capacity (577 cubic inches), 1,700 watts at 120 volts/60 Hz, a touch screen and a 90–400°F overall range. That is a meaningful fit for shoppers who want oven-style racks and food visibility; it is a poor match if the word “basket” means a drawer that slides out. The manual does not establish a present retail offer or a standardized accessory bundle, so confirm the CM-001 label and included parts on any specific listing.

Choose it for an oven layout, not drawer convenience

The model-labelled guide shows one cooking cavity, three Air Flow Rack positions, a drip tray and several accessories intended for different jobs. It describes the racks for crisping and reheating foods, and separately shows a rotating mesh basket and rotisserie parts. The guide cautions that accessory quantities vary and some may be sold separately; do not assume a particular offer includes the mesh basket, rotisserie shaft, skewer set or bakeware simply because the manual describes them. It also says a roast or chicken needs room to rotate freely; an item that is too large will not turn or cook evenly, and the manual gives about 3.5–4 pounds as an average example.

That layout gives you a door to open and a cavity to arrange, rather than one or two independent drawers. Opening the door pauses cooking, and an internal light helps inspect the food. You can move racks between the upper and lower positions; the guide suggests placing them higher for faster cooking and switching positions to promote evenness. These are manufacturer operating directions, not comparative test results. If a compact, lift-out basket is the main priority, the earlier PowerXL GLA-502S review describes a different 7-quart pull-out configuration.

Presets are food-oriented, with separate dehydration limits

The touch panel offers presets labelled French Fry, Steaks/Chops, Fish, Shrimp, Chicken, Baking, Rotisserie and Dehydrator. For example, the manual’s default French Fry setting is 400°F for 15 minutes; Chicken is 370°F for 40 minutes; and Baking is 350°F for 30 minutes. You can adjust the preset’s temperature and time, so those defaults are starting points rather than fixed outcomes. The timer spans one to 60 minutes for ordinary modes. Dehydrating is different: it runs from two to 24 hours in 30-minute increments, with a 90–170°F range; the other cooking settings are adjustable from 150–400°F. The single oven cavity does not provide independently controlled zones or a synchronized dual finish.

The main display cycles between temperature and remaining time. Temperature changes are made in 5°F steps. There is no dedicated preheat key identified in the control table; instead, the guide says to add three minutes when starting with a cold appliance. It also advises using a halfway timer point for foods that need turning. Do not mistake that manual routine for an automatic shake alert. For first use, the safety section asks users to run the appliance briefly to remove its protective manufacturing oil and then clean it as directed.

Capacity and cleaning need careful interpretation

Unlike many drawer fryers, the CM-001’s exact table does list a nominal 10-quart capacity, alongside 577 cubic inches. Use that maker-listed figure if a 10-quart minimum is essential, but do not read it as a tested usable food load. The manual does not give exterior dimensions or weight, so measure your available counter space against a specific unit rather than estimating from the image. It calls for an open, level, heat-resistant setup and at least five inches of clearance from nearby objects; its vents must remain unobstructed.

The cleaning section identifies the rotating mesh basket and other stainless-steel accessories as dishwasher-safe, while the appliance itself is cleaned with a damp cloth and should not be immersed. The question for a buyer is which accessories arrive in the exact bundle: a dishwasher-safe component that is sold separately does not make the standard package complete. The manual’s 90-day money-back section is not treated as a current transferable warranty. Coating chemistry, current parts supply, exact seller stock and an exact-SKU recall disposition are not established here.

Who should pass

Skip this reference if you need two physical baskets, independent cooking zones, a confirmed dishwasher-safe pull-out drawer or a setting above 400°F. If your low-temperature requirement is 90°F, note that the documented range is in Dehydrator mode, not a promise that every cooking preset can run at that temperature. It may suit someone comparing an older, 10-quart oven-style unit with digital presets, rack positions and manual-described rotisserie/dehydration options—provided the exact package is verified. It is not a substitute for a current in-stock model, and the manual alone cannot tell you condition, remaining warranty or seller support.
