Model comparison
Gourmia GAF414, GAF652 or GAF734?
Gourmia’s GAF414, GAF652 and GAF734 are digital basket air fryers with one pull-out basket and preset controls. Their clearest documented distinction is nominal capacity: four, six and seven quarts. The official pages and available model guides also show a related control style, but these figures and presets do not tell you the usable basket footprint or prove how much food fits in a single layer. Compare the exact model code and your essential constraints instead of choosing by quart number alone.
Choose the capacity that matches the batch
The GAF414 is the 4-quart model, the GAF652 is listed at 6 quarts, and the GAF734 at 7 quarts. Treat those as nominal labels, not tested serving counts. Gourmia’s GAF734 manual says to stay under the basket’s max line and suggests smaller batches when food needs more room to crisp. The GAF652 guide similarly warns against overfilling. The maker does not provide a complete three-axis countertop footprint in the evidence used here, so capacity cannot substitute for height, width, depth or pull-out clearance. If the appliance has to fit a particular shelf or cabinet, get the exact measurements before narrowing the list.
Shared controls do not mean identical operating ranges
All three product pages identify digital one-touch controls and describe twelve presets; GAF652 and GAF734 exact manuals name the familiar Air Fry, Fries, Wings, Bacon, Seafood, Vegetables, Bake, Roast, Broil, Dehydrate, Reheat and Keep Warm functions. The GAF414 product image shows the same named buttons, and its page describes adjustable time and temperature, optional preheat and a turn reminder. But the GAF414 manual’s full chart was not accessible for this assessment. Its exact temperature, timer and clearance limits therefore remain unconfirmed; do not carry GAF734’s numbers over to it.
For GAF652 and GAF734, Dehydrate is documented from 90°F, while Air Fry tops out at 400°F and Keep Warm has its own range. A person requiring an exact low endpoint or high maximum should compare those model-specific charts, not rely on the word “digital” or on a preset count. GAF414’s official manual search excerpt identifies a 120 V, 60 Hz, 1,300 W electrical rating; GAF652 and GAF734 guides state 120 V, 60 Hz and 1,500 W. Wattage helps with circuit planning, not with an unmeasured claim about speed or crispness.
Consider care, visibility and separate-zone needs
The GAF414 product page calls its nonstick basket and crisper tray dishwasher-safe; only a full exact manual can settle any more specific care requirement. The GAF652 and GAF734 guides specify top-rack cleaning after cooling. The GAF734 manual also names food-grade, BPA-free silicone bumpers on its crisper tray, but that does not establish the chemistry of the coated basket or every food-contact surface. None of these source records gives an explicit PFAS-free statement for the complete set. If such documentation is a hard requirement, unknown is not a pass.
These three are opaque single-basket designs, so one cook setting applies to the food in the basket. They do not replace a dual-zone model if two separate foods must finish independently. The GAF7020 is a different comparison point: it is listed at seven quarts but uses a clear glass cooking vessel, which changes visibility and vessel handling without adding a second zone. Availability also needs a current check; the three direct Gourmia U.S. product pages displayed sold out when captured.
A practical way to shortlist
Start with the GAF414 only if four nominal quarts, a single opaque basket and its documented controls suit your plan. Move to the GAF652 when six quarts is the listed capacity you need and its exact temperature chart and care instructions answer your constraints. Consider the GAF734 for seven nominal quarts, a model-specific chart and a stainless-steel-finish exterior. Before deciding, compare your hard requirements against the exact evidence: electrical supply, maximum and minimum mode settings, countertop dimensions, cleaning, material statements and number of cooking zones. If an essential point is missing for one model, keep it unconfirmed rather than assuming that adjacent GAF models share it.
